Flatirons BBQ Roasting Box
The roasting box is a wooden box lined with metal. The pig is placed inside the box and a metal cover is placed on top. Charcoal is then placed on top of the metal cover and once lit creates the slow heat of an outdoor oven.
The box is ideal for cooking in outdoor locations. It is self contained, safe, and cooks the pig to perfection - plus, your guests will have the opportunity to see the pig when it is flipped to crisp the top & during carving.

Whole Pig Facts:
-> Whole Pigs generally take 3.5 to 4 hours to roast to perfection.
-> We require one weeks notice to order a pig for a catered event or roast your own booking.
-> Whole Pigs start at 40lb uncooked weight and go up to 85 lbs.
-> You can of course order multiple hogs for larger events.
